Zamfara State Governor, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle has approved the appointment of Alhaji Garba Mohammed S/Kudu as the new Emir of Dansadau emirate.

This was contained in a press statement issued to newsmen in Gusau, the State capital, by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Kabiru Balarebe.

The statement noted that the appointment takes immediate effect.

Recalled that the former Emir, Alhaji Hussein was accused of involvement in banditry activities and was detained in the Government House, Gusau, the State capital.

He was later dethroned and taken to court and was replaced by Alhaji Garba Mohammed S/Kudu recently.
