Tension grips Uyo as a woman from Akwa Ibom is gruesomely murdered, her head found severed in the banking layout along Udo Udoma Avenue.
The victim, yet to be identified, had lived and farmed in the area before the tragic incident on Sunday night.
Discovered on Monday, her lifeless body lay in a pool of blood with her severed head nearby, causing shock among locals.
The Akwa Ibom State Police Command, as confirmed by the Public Relations Officer, Odiko Macedon, is conducting an investigation and launching a manhunt for the culprits.
